The seed enters for the draws that are genuinely arbitrary — how many plates a mobile-lid world happens to have, how many hotspots, how much ocean floor there is — and for nothing else. Everything derived from physics is derived from physics, so two bodies with the same mass, radius, air and tide have the same geology up to those draws, which is the claim the archetypes make in the first place.
