LiquidKind

type LiquidKind

The three liquids a surface can hold, by the temperature the ground is at.

Water between the freezing point and a boiling point under a few bars; hydrocarbons — methane and ethane, which is what Titan's lakes are — around a hundred kelvin; and molten rock above the basalt solidus. The windows are disjoint, so a body holds at most one, and the gaps between them are worlds with no standing liquid at all: Venus at 739 K has an ocean's worth of water in its past and none on its ground.
