function applyLook
observer.ts:215
A drag, in pixels, applied to the look instead of to the orbit.
The same signs as applyDrag, and that is the whole of the design: both
gestures are the grab every map uses, so the thing under the pointer goes
where the pointer goes. Orbiting pulls the globe's near face and looking
pulls the picture, and a build that signed the second one like a
first-person mouse-look would have two drags on one surface that felt
inverted against each other with nothing on screen saying which was which.
The pitch clamps for ELEVATION_LIMIT's reason rather than a restatement of
it: lookAlong levels the frame against an up hint, so a view aimed exactly
along that hint has no horizon to level and rolls a half turn in one
pointer-pixel.
