scatterRange

function scatterRange
scatterSelect.ts:105
scatterRange(lens: Lens, viewport: Viewport) → number

How far rocks are drawn, meters.

The distance at which the smallest rock the generator places covers ROCK_PIXELS — 212 m at the flight lens over the baseline, where a rock at the top of the size range is still ten pixels. Exported because the streamer applies the same cut per rock and both have to be the same number, and because ir.terrain().scatter reports it.

The far edge is a hard edge: nothing fades. A 4 m boulder crossing it appears already covering thirty pixels, which is a pop the two-pixel test cannot hide, and the fix is a per-instance ramp in the material rather than another number here.
