ThrustDemand

interface ThrustDemand

The commanded acceleration as fractions of the profile's authority, in body axes — what a renderer needs to decide which nozzles are firing and how hard, without holding a copy of the profile.

linear is the thrusters, signed along each body axis, so a push ahead is linear.z = −1 (forward is −Z) and a strafe to starboard is linear.x = +1; angular is about the body axes — pitch X, yaw Y, roll Z — as a fraction of torque; drive is the main drive's throttle. Each component is in −1..1 by construction, the drive in 0..1: the control is clamped there and the damping torque is bounded by the same authority.
