function planetTilt
universe/src/system.ts:1052
planetTilt(draw: number) → number
A planet's axial tilt from one gaussian draw, with the tail stretched.
The body of the draw is |N(0, 0.35)|: most planets within thirty degrees,
which is Earth, Mars, Saturn and Neptune. What a plain gaussian cannot
reach is Uranus — 82° on one giant in four, from an impact — and a ring
system on a body of ordinary tilt spends most of its orbit with its star
within a few degrees of the ring plane, lit edge-on and drawn dark. So the
draw past 34° (1.7σ, about one planet in eleven) is stretched five times,
up to the 86° a magnitude can carry: the retrograde half of the circle
lives in the sign of the rotation period. One draw either way, so no
planet's moons, color or ground move for the change.
